The key to health & safety lies within the continuous training and education of our work force, employing the right people for the right job, ensuring our work force is 100% CSCS trained and all plant operatives are CPCS qualified. We remain committed to training and assisting all of our work force to achieve at least a level 2 NVQ with all Site Managers and Contracts Managers holding SMSTS qualifications.
We recognise our responsibility under the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974 for the safety of our employees and others who may be affected by our activity, and fully endorse this across the company by aiming to meet the following goals:
Identify, assess and control risk
Integrate safety into our company operations
Review company strategies and implement necessary solutions
Investigate any incidents that compromise the Company's strategy and draw up preventative actions
Allocate sufficient resources to enable the policy to function effectively.
Seek to improve health and safety performance by continuously monitoring site activity.
